  Overall

Arklight is a budget-priced game that was surprising worthwhile from the get-go, with addictively fun action and solid gameplay. Pieye Studios has done a remarkable job making a simple, fun game for the whole family to enjoy. If I did have a gripe, it would have to be with the fact that there’s no alternative game modes or any multiplayer support. Still, many stages are easily re-playable, and the frantic action is enough to keep a gamer busy for hours on end. Even those with the least bit of interest in this game-type should check out the demo on the Pi Eye Games website. Arklight is worth at least that much. Continue to visit VGCore.com for all your video game needs.

  Sweet to the Core
Visual effects. Cool lighting and electric effects

Multi-genre. Gameplay elements from Tetris, Arkanoid, and a 3D space invader

Fun puzzles. For a puzzle shooter Arklight prooved to be very entertaining

Stage variety. Challenges and stage diversity kept the action original

  Going Bad
Music. the music was a bit campy

  Rotten to the Core
No multiplayer. Network or split-screen play would have been great
