  Overall

DEFCON is a perfect example that with a little style, and balanced gameplay that next generation technology is not needed to create a fun experience. Sure there is a steep learning curve, but by sticking with it gamers will not only be rewarded with some of the most stylish 2D graphics and ambient music but a gameplay experience not seen yet on a PC.

  Sweet to the Core
The Music. I want the soundtrack. Now.

The Graphics. Who knew that a top down 2D game could look so damn good.

  Going Bad
Limited Units. No crafting units here. Once they are dead, they are dead.

Micromanaging. No such thing in DEFCON.

  Rotten to the Core
Learning Curve. This game will own you.

There really isn't "violence" in this game, just the faint screams of people dying.
