Battlefield 2142 tries to bring the franchise to the future with only a little success. The new Titan Mode is a blast but is hurt by problems which make the weapons and vehicles inspiring to wield. Factor in the horribly generic vehicle design on top of the forgettable sound and Battlefield 2142 comes off looking like a well made mod at best.

Titan Mode. Best reason to pick up this game. Change to the BF formula is a welcome one.
Character models . Are really cool looking, and detailed.
Going Bad
Nothing changed. 2142 can’t shake the feeling that it just feels like a very well made mod.
Unsatisfying. Firing weapons and controlling vehicles still doesn’t deliver like it should.

No blood, but there is animated death and the firing of guns and such. Online play won’t help either thanks to everyone and their “unique” take on our language.
